Text Box: Training others to teach children is a vital part of our ministry. We offer several options for training. The Teacher Training Class is designed to help the Good News Club teachers and other volunteers to be prepared to teach their clubs each week. Classes are held twice a month October – March. We hold an annual one-day Teacher Training Kickoff that commences the Good News Club year. This year’s kickoff will be held on September 27, 2011, at the Good News Club headquarters in Northumberland from 9 AM—2 PM. This is the orientation session for all Good News teachers, helpers, and interested volunteers. Sessions include “Building Blocks of the Bible Lesson,” “The Return to Genesis,” demonstration Bible lessons for the series “Beginnings,” and an overview of the components of a Good News Club will be presented. There is no charge to attend. Coffee break and lunch will be provided. Call the office or e-mail to register. We have one day of Camp Staff Orientation every July. We host the two-week Summer Missionary Training School of Child Evangelism Fellowship of Eastern Pa, Inc. This is held at Mountain View Bible Camp.
